Print Resolution of Canvas Prints from Photos
The resulting canvas from a photo depends also on the quality of the pictures submitted by you. We have the best available software for graphics optimisation but we consider important to mention that the better your picture is, the better the resulting print will be. There are more factors that influence the quality of the picture such as: size, colour palette, brightness, contrast etc.
While some of these may be easily adjusted using our software, the resolution of the resulting photo canvas print is the critical factor that defines output quality. Resolution is measured in DPI (Dots per Inch) and represents the number of dots per one inch of photographic print. Our printing devices are set to print at 2880 x 1440 DPI Resolution.
The quality of your canvas from photo as already mentioned depends on the size of the picture you send us (measured in pixels, for example 1200x800 pixels) and the size of the print (measured in inch or cm - for example 100x75cm). Please see our table below.
Our online photo checking tool tells you once you upload your photo whether the photo is suitable for the canvas size you selected, and displays you a 3D Preview of the Canvas from your photo. |
