Digital Photographs on Canvas

Every aspect in life has its "purist" and "new age" schools of thought and photography is no different. With all of the advances in technology making its way into the photographer's world, the purists find themselves in an increasingly non-purist environment. They will continue to scoff, however, at the digital user claiming whole-heartedly that no digital image could ever match the technical superiority of an image developed from film. And the purists who do eventually make the switch to digital medium will normally do so with the mindset that any digital image that is later manipulated or enhanced is not real photography. The new age photographer, like myself, however is happy to have the tools available to create the images that pre-digital photographers could only dream about. It feels good to create what my mind sees and not just what my eyes see. So be proud to have the technology at your fingertips to create what you feel and then proudly share your creations buy putting your photos on canvas and displaying them to the world.
