A great way to create a visually stimulating photos on canvas is to provide an “in-photo” frame around your subject. Framing is yet another way to emphasize your subject, which is ultimately the most important part of the picture.
So, in order to achieve this type of emphasis the frame should border your subject on at least two sides and it should seem as though you are looking through your frame toward your subject. Some good approaches to this technique include using hanging foliage or archways for the frame, but the possibilities are endless.
Capturing a picture perfect framing opportunity, however, can require just as much luck as it does skill. Just be sure to always keep your eyes and your mind open to the photographic opportunities that surround you.
